NUR 708 Capstone Portfolio

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Students will develop and present a culminating ePortfolio to demonstrate achievements accrued throughout their graduate study. The ePortfolio is a work in progress and starts during the first semester of the program. Elements of self-directed learning, artifacts and reflection, as well as demonstration of competencies, are included in the ePortfolio. 

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of the course, the students will be able to

1. Progressively present course and clinical work completed during the graduate program using 

Google Sites ePortfolio shell; develop a well-organized, professional curriculum vitae;

2. Showcase developing knowledge, skills, and abilities;

3. Reflect on what has been learned and how it helps professional growth;

4. Share academic and professional accomplishments.

5. Document clinical competence; and

6. Map course assignments to program outcomes.
